Pont-cascade de Pontalaman
The Pont-cascade de Pontalaman, an edifice between nature and architecture
The Pont-cascade de Pontalaman combines nature and architecture wonderfully. Built during the Roman era, it crosses the Lemboulas, a small river that rises in the Lot and flows into the Tarn. Nestled in lush greenery, it’s a perfect place to take a walk, to enjoy a fishing trip, or simply to rest by the water with butterflies, such as the large copper or the marsh fritillary, that you might have the chance to see.
A good complement to the Afghan walk proposed on Wednesday. The more adventurous, who can borrow one of our cycles, will enjoy a ride and will get there in less than 25 minutes from L’Ostalas.
